⚠️ Work in Progress

This document surfaces open questions and strategic decisions for team discussion. Updated Oct 29, 2025.

For Discussion

Open questions, key insights, and brand guidelines for Eden V4 launch alignment.

Open Questions

Strategic decisions that need team input before broader launch.

Pricing & Economics Open

Q: What's the training investment?

Current homepage says "case-by-case basis" but we need clarity for serious applicants.

  • Is there a standard cohort price vs bespoke pricing?
  • What's the range we're comfortable sharing publicly?
  • Do we offer payment plans or equity arrangements?

Q: Spirit Protocol launch timing?

Homepage mentions "Dec 2025" but we need exact date for marketing calendar.

  • Is Dec 10, 2025 confirmed?
  • What's the pre-launch messaging strategy?
  • When can we start accepting token pre-commitments?

Capacity & Cohorts Open

Q: How many agents can we train simultaneously?

Discovery flow is live—how many applicants can we realistically accept?

  • What's Feb 2026 cohort size? (3-5 agents? 5-10?)
  • What's our acceptance rate target?
  • Do we batch cohorts or rolling admissions after Feb?

Q: What defines a "good fit" applicant?

We need clear criteria for reviewing discovery flow submissions.

  • Is prior creative practice required? (artist/writer/researcher track record)
  • Do applicants need existing audience/distribution?
  • Technical skill requirements? (comfortable with APIs, creative tools, etc.)
  • Minimum commitment threshold? (financial, time, creative vision)

Proof & Traction Open

Q: Can we share Abraham's performance metrics?

Homepage mentions "13-year covenant" but no live traction data.

  • Daily creation count since Oct 19?
  • Collector count?
  • Total sales volume?
  • Average price per creation?
  • Is Gene comfortable with public metrics?

Positioning & Competition Open

Q: How do we position vs other AI creative tools?

FAQ mentions ChatGPT/MidJourney but could be sharper.

  • What about Glif, Fuser, Replicate? (creator-focused platforms)
  • What about Character.AI, Inworld? (autonomous agent platforms)
  • Is our wedge "century-long cultural practice" vs "productivity/one-off generation"?

Key Insights

Strategic observations that should guide messaging and product decisions.

Cultural Positioning Decided

Insight: We make culture, not productivity software.

This is the clearest wedge against enterprise AI and creative tool competitors. Abraham proves autonomous artists work—we're training agents for art, photography, research, entertainment, journalism. Not email drafting, not code completion.

Insight: Century-long thinking beats quarterly thinking.

Abraham's 13-year covenant (4,745 days ahead) is our proof point. While others optimize for quarterly growth, we design for multi-decade cultural impact. Your agent creating in 2050.

Insight: Training is intimate, not automated.

4-8 weeks of close collaboration. You're not configuring a bot—you're passing on your creative voice. This depth enables century-long practices. Quick setups create shallow mimics.

Economics & Sustainability Decided

Insight: Fixed tokenomics simplify creator decisions.

Spirit Protocol's 25/25/25/25 split means creators don't agonize over revenue models. They focus on community building, not economic design. Discovery flow Q4 now explains this upfront.

Insight: Community support sustains agents, not platforms.

No ads. No 50% platform cuts. Collectors, subscribers, customers directly support agent work via Superfluid streaming. Real-time revenue as work sells.

Onboarding & Discovery Decided

Insight: Show, don't tell.

Discovery flow now shows live agent examples when category selected. "Browse Live Agents First" link on welcome. Following Glif/Fuser pattern: explore before commit.

Insight: Preview reduces anxiety.

New preview screen before contact: "Here's your agent vision." Users see their practice summarized before asking for email. Makes abstract feel tangible.

Insight: Reassurance over perfection.

"We'll help you refine this during training—just give us your initial direction." Addresses creator anxiety about getting it "perfect" in discovery flow.

Brand Guidelines

Design and messaging rules for consistency across homepage, discovery flow, and future pages.

Typography System Decided

Helvetica Bold Caps

  • Font-weight 900: H1/H2 headlines
  • Font-weight 700: All UI elements (buttons, labels, navigation, subheadings)
  • Font-weight 300: Body text and descriptions
  • Letter-spacing: 2px for headlines, 1px for UI elements

Color System Decided

Minimal Palette

  • Primary: #000 (black background)
  • Text: #fff (white), #ddd (light gray), #999 (medium gray), #666 (dark gray)
  • Accent: #43e97b (green) - used for CTAs, links, highlights
  • Borders: 1px solid #333 (default), #43e97b (active/selected)

Design Principles Decided

Swiss Minimalism

  • Generous white space (80px section padding, 48px after headings)
  • 1px borders only (no 2px or 3px)
  • 150ms transitions throughout
  • Transparent backgrounds (use rgba for subtle fills only)
  • No box-shadows or gradients

Vocabulary & Tone Decided

✓ Do Say

  • "AI agent" (not "autonomous AI")
  • "Daily creative practice"
  • "Train" (not "build" or "create")
  • "Century-long practice"
  • "Cultural amplification"
  • "Human creators train AI agents"
  • "Make culture through art/design/research"

  • "Autonomous AI" (brand guideline violation)
  • "Automate creativity"
  • "Build a bot"
  • "Content generation"
  • "Enterprise automation"
  • "Quick setup"
  • "Launch in minutes"

Button Hierarchy Decided

Primary vs Secondary

  • Primary: Green fill (#43e97b), black text, for main actions
  • Secondary: Transparent background, white border, white text, for alternative actions
  • Disabled: 30% opacity, not-allowed cursor
  • Hover: Primary → white fill, Secondary → white background + black text

Emoji Usage Decided

Functional Only

  • Use: In category labels (🎨 Art, 📸 Photography, 🧠 Research, etc.)
  • Use: In agent card medium descriptors
  • Don't use: In headlines, body copy, or CTAs
  • Don't use: For decoration or personality
